At the top-up programme in Web Development you will learn how to undertake the design and construction of web applications of all sizes. You will be working creatively with coding, creating realistic projects while you improve your development and programming skills to a professional level.
During the course of your studies you will be in close contact with the business community and you will, for example, write papers in cooperation with a business. You will also be an intern in a business in which you can try out your competencies in practice. We cooperate with a large number of businesses.
Career Opportunities
As an educated web developper you will typically be able to find job in internal development departments of companies of all sizes, or in large consulting or software firms in the area of web applications.
You can be employed for example as:
• Front- or back end developer
• Programmer
• Web master
• Web programmer
• Web shop manager and developer
• Internal programmer
• Web designer
Moreover, the programme will qualify you to continue relevant educational studies at masters degree level at a Danish or international university.
About the Degree
The top-up degree extends an already acquired Academy Profession programme to a related or prespecified bachelor level. The top-up option is only available to a subset of AP degrees and offered as a 90 ECTS supplement with a resulting degree of Professional Bachelor.
Admission
You must have completed one of the following AP Degree programmes in order to apply for admission: Multimedia design or Computer science. Please ask Student Counselling if you have obtained similar qualifications in an other way.In addition, documentation may be required verifying that your proficiency in English is at a specified level. Tuition
There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
